Meet Our Twin Partners

Doctor of natural medicine, Sheryl, partner in Twin Peaks Wellness.

Shelley DiAngelo, BSN, RN, CDCES
Founder / Owner / CEO

Sheryl Strom, DNM, BM, DSM, RN
Founder / Partner / Provider

Shelley’s work in the nursing field spanned many different acute and chronic healthcare specialties: post-surgery/telemetry, ICU, spinal cord injury, dialysis, travel nursing, diabetes care, and care management.

Later on, being adventurous and embracing the expanded opportunities of owning her own health and wellness business, she created an online weight loss program for those looking to prevent poor health or reverse chronic disease. The majority of major chronic diseases are lifestyle-related; thus, she has a large focus on health and healing through a lifestyle and behavioral change model, along with her longtime nutritional and therapeutic method for deep internal healing.

She adopted her wife’s baby grandson, and they all live in the beautiful Rock Mountains with their dog. Taking self-care to the peaks, she hikes, bikes, kayaks, and loves to snowshoe in fresh powder.

“Living a life of happiness and health is my passion for others. Educating people on the holistic options they now have available to prevent illness, feel and look their best, and have a wonderful, high-quality, and long life is very exciting to facilitate!”

A lifelong healer and advocate of natural and drugless interventions, Dr. Sheryl advocates the same for you.

Holistic medicine is a healing approach that considers the entire person-mind, body, spirit, and emotions—to achieve optimal health. By integrating conventional and alternative therapies, she not only supports improvement in disease but also promotes overall wellness. Her method is especially valuable for those struggling with chronic pain, stress, and emotional imbalances, offering a personalized, balanced path.

Dr. Sheryl has owned her private practice since 2002, where she has successfully helped many individuals enjoy optimum wellness. Also, her 35+ years of conventional medicine experience will help guide you through the myriad of medical challenges.

She also lives in the Rocky Mountains with her husband and has three grown children. In her personal time, she enjoys connecting with nature through walks, dancing, biking, hiking, and learning to fly fish.

“Natural health was never an alternative or choice. Returning to our roots is.”

Their Back Story

Growing Up

Their Love for Nursing

Sheryl and Shelley grew up in San Diego, inseparable as twins—sharing friends, sports, and a deep bond that shaped their lives. After high school, their paths diverged: Sheryl pursued her BA degree in Spanish, while Shelley danced professionally around the world. Later in life, they pursued further education paving the road to help more people holistically.

They both received bachelors of science in nursing from San Diego State University and then Sheryl earned doctorates in natural, bioenergetic, and sacred medicine, and Shelley pursued specialty certification in diabetes care and education.

Despite different journeys into nursing careers, they both worked traditional nursing jobs in hospitals and medical clinics. Then, Sheryl’s husband’s career took them to Colorado and Shelley followed suit as a travel nurse years later. They both eventually found their calling in holistic health; passionate about natural health interventions and aging gracefully. They each built private health and wellness practices with virtual and in-person services.

The Natural Next Step: Holistic Health Practices

Their shared commitment to natural health made partnering a natural next step. And though alike in many ways, their unique experiences and perspectives add depth to their customers’ experiences. Together, they embody the calm, steadfast strength of the Rocky Mountains, earning them the affectionate nickname “The Twin Peaks” from their clients. And so, the name stuck, perfectly capturing their essence and the nature-inspired philosophy that guides their work.

The twins’ main value in business is treating all people equally. This core principle carries over to contracted nurses and staff who are people of different race, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, and physical abilities. Twin Peaks Wellness is an inclusive collective of experts, believing all who work for TPW bring unique qualities to serving you.
